Welcome home, adventurer 🌸
TogetherRO is open—come make yourself at home. Explore at your own pace, find a little company, and enjoy a classic world with its own cozy touches. There will be no character rollbacks. We keep improving the world, and your feedback is always welcome.
What’s new since September 17?
- September 23: Comodo and Juno boards: new 50-kill hunts for Base 60–79 and 80–98, with Alt+U tracking and substantial EXP turn-ins. Board locations and rewards.
- A cozier central plaza: a Doram Kafra with her own portrait, free platinum skill lessons in the Main Office, and helpers spread around the fountain. Office services.
- Ribbon & Razor: new hairstyles and dyes, quick cycling, number entry, and three saved appearance slots. Wardrobe details and credits.
- More ways to level: Sister Maris now asks for 50 Skeletons or Zombies. The new Payon Bounty Board offers five optional 50-kill hunts for Base 35–60, with Alt+U tracking and a separate Base/Job EXP turn-in bonus.
- Try another build: the Main Office Reset Counselor offers your first stat reset and first skill reset free per character; later resets cost 10,000 zeny per service.
- A more comfortable Payon: the outdoor Tool Dealer stocks Awakening Potions and more supplies. Payon Kafra saves now return you to the clearing at
payon 173 101; existing Payon saves were updated too. - Guidance and polish: the Archer Trail Scout’s invisible sprite was corrected, and the Main Office service NPCs have been neatly rearranged.
- Client fixes: corrected skill descriptions and SP-cost displays, plus English trade, PIN-creation, and banking buttons. These are description/interface fixes, not changes to skill balance or bank balances.
- Another download option: the download page now includes a Cloudflare mirror alongside the primary client download.
Close the game completely and reopen the TogetherRO Launcher to receive client updates. This guide covers services you can use now; watch Discord for upcoming events and additions.
Quick facts
Server address: play.togetherro.cc, port 6900.
Getting started
- Create an account.
- Download and extract the TogetherRO client; choose the primary download or Cloudflare mirror.
- Run
TogetherRO-Launcher.exefrom the extracted client folder, let it update, then start the game. Close the game before applying updates; use CHECK & REPAIR if files need refreshing. - Log in and create a character. Novices begin in the Training Grounds; Doram begin as Summoners in the Lasagna field.
- Join the Discord for announcements, parties, help, and bug reporting.
Never share your password. TogetherRO staff will not ask for it.
Playing on Linux 🐧
TogetherRO runs on Linux through Wine. Our currently tested setup is Bottles on Ubuntu GNOME/Wayland; Linux support is experimental, and other distributions or Wine configurations may behave differently.
- Use the TogetherRO launcher through a dedicated Bottles gaming bottle.
- For comfortably sized text, use the client's own 1280×800 fullscreen mode.
- Leave the Linux desktop at its normal native resolution. Do not change the desktop resolution merely to match the game.
- Avoid running TogetherRO through Gamescope for now. With this legacy client it may cause severe stuttering, high CPU usage, and loud fans.
- Steam Deck is not yet verified. Please treat it as experimental rather than assuming the desktop Linux instructions will behave identically.
If you test another distribution, Wine runner, or Steam Deck configuration, please share the exact setup and results in Discord's 🐛・bug-reports channel. Successful reports are just as helpful as failures.
Novice and job progression
Fresh Novices begin in the classic Training Grounds with additional guidance and repeatable combat practice. Completing the combat laps provides meaningful Job EXP and starter supplies, allowing a Novice to train toward Job 10 before leaving.
- Leaving early is allowed, but you may miss Training Grounds rewards.
- First jobs use their classic job-change quests and tests.
- There is no instant job changer.
- Changing jobs normally requires Novice Job 10 and Basic Skill level 9.
Repeatable EXP quests & Quiet Rest
The classic iRO repeatable hunts and item turn-ins are available. Open Alt+U → Recommended for quests within your current Base Level range; close and reopen the window after leveling. Visit the listed NPC to accept a quest.
Rewards that grow with you
Hunt rewards are set from your Base and Job EXP requirements when you accept. The shortest hunt targets roughly 125% of each starting EXP bar, including ordinary solo monster EXP, with at least a 25% bar turn-in bonus and the original reward as a minimum. Classic 100- and 150-monster options use twice and three times the shortest-hunt budget.
Item turn-ins give at least 50% of your current Base and Job EXP requirements, or the original reward if larger. These are EXP budgets, not guaranteed numbers of levels: level curves, parties, bonuses, and job changes can affect the result.
Sister Maris: a gentle route for early support builds
Find Sister Maris just outside Payon Cave at pay_arche 54 142. Her Quiet Rest hunts welcome every class, with one Quiet Rest hunt active at a time.
| Hunt | Base Level | Targets |
|---|---|---|
| Skeletons | 12–30 | 50, on Payon Cave F1 |
| Zombies | 18–40 | 50, on Payon Cave F1 |
Only kills on pay_dun00 count. Progress survives logging out. If you know Heal, hold Shift while targeting a Skeleton or Zombie to damage it; Sister Maris explains this in her dialogue. Bats and Poporings are not undead.
Payon Bounty Board: optional hunts for Base 35–60
Find the board with /navi payon 148/91. Accept one hunt at a time, defeat 50 targets in its listed map, and return for Base and Job EXP. There is no fee, cooldown, zeny payout, or item reward. An accepted hunt can still be finished after Base 60.
| Target | Map |
|---|---|
| Wolf | Payon Forest F2 — pay_fild02 |
| Archer Skeleton | Payon Cave F2 — pay_dun01 |
| Munak or Bongun (separate hunts) | Payon Cave F3 — pay_dun02 |
| Greatest General | Payon Forest F10 — pay_fild10 |
The turn-in bonus is 50% of the Base and Job EXP requirements at acceptance, in addition to monster EXP. Kill EXP is not subtracted. Rewards stay locked as you level; changing class caps each saved reward at half the new requirement. Normal personal EXP modifiers and rounding apply; a maxed category grants no EXP. This is a separate formula from the classic repeatables and Sister Maris above.
Use Alt+U → Ongoing for your live kill counter and Recommended for directions. Progress survives relogging; native nearby-party hunting credit applies. Canceling discards that hunt’s progress without a reward. Update through the launcher if its quest text is missing.
Comodo and Juno Bounty Boards
More optional EXP-only hunts beyond Payon: one active hunt per board, 50 kills on the specified map, with no fee or cooldown. Return to the same board to claim your reward.
| Board | Base level | Directions | Targets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Comodo | 60–79 | /navi comodo 200/153 | Alligator, Sea Otter, Seal, Stalactic Golem |
| Juno | 80–98 | /navi yuno 157/187 | Grand Peco, Goat, Sleeper, Harpy |
Each turn-in adds 50% of the next-level Base and uncapped Job EXP requirements recorded when you accept, in addition to normal monster EXP. This is not a guarantee of half a level at turn-in: acceptance locks the reward, personal EXP modifiers and rounding apply, and capped categories grant no EXP. Changing class can cap the saved reward.
Use Alt+U → Ongoing for kill progress and Recommended for directions. Accepted hunts can be completed after leaving the acceptance level range. Canceling abandons progress without a reward. Close the game and run your usual launcher if the quest text is missing; no full-client redownload is needed.
Doram adventures on TogetherRO 🐾
Doram are intentional on TogetherRO. They are a custom exception to our classic pre-renewal foundation, not an accidental modern-job addition. Our goal is to let players enjoy the kitties while fitting them carefully into TogetherRO’s lower-level world.
What is different here
- A new Doram begins directly as a Summoner in
lasa_fild01with a Short Foxtail Staff and Cotton Shirt. Doram do not use the Novice Training Grounds or a Job 10 job-change ceremony. - The current cap is Base 99 / Job 50, with stats capped at 99 and Summoner ASPD capped at 190.
- The Life, Land, and Sea branches use a curated early Summoner skill tree. Their canonical skill records are adapted to run under TogetherRO’s pre-renewal mechanics.
- Level-100+ Summoner extensions and Spirit Handler progression are deliberately excluded.
- Lasagna has a Tool Dealer, Kafra save/storage, Island Wayfinder, and a ferry to Alberta. The first Lasagna-to-Alberta trip is free for each Doram; later trips cost 250 zeny.
- Doram appearance changes are free and limited to client-verified Doram-safe styles and colors.
- After completing First Paws Forward and reaching Base 12, return to Pawfessor Saffron for one choice of Enriched Foxtail Staff [1] or Long Foxtail Staff [1]. This is a one-time choice per character.
The kitties are part of our world. As with other classes, we welcome feedback and may make fixes or balance adjustments to keep their adventures a good fit for TogetherRO.
Your first paws forward
- Create a Doram and begin in the Lasagna field with a Short Foxtail Staff and Cotton Shirt.
- Speak to Pawfessor Saffron near
lasa_fild01 52 302and accept First Paws Forward. - Defeat 10 Eggrings for your first hunt. Follow your progress in the Quest Log and chat counter; the Quest Log may not visually refresh immediately.
- Return for your one-time reward: 20 Novice Potions, 10 Fly Wings, 2 Butterfly Wings, 3 Kafra Storage Tickets, 3 Kafra Transportation Tickets, 250 Base EXP, and 150 Job EXP.
- Stock up at the Tool Dealer at
lasagna 165 125, visit Kafra atlasagna 193 183, and catch the ferry atlasagna 205 325. Your first outbound ferry ride is free; later rides cost 250 zeny. - Explore the Life, Land, and Sea skill branches to find the playstyle that feels like you.
- Try Foxtail equipment, refining, and the free Doram stylist as you make your way toward Base 99 / Job 50.
Something not behaving as expected? Let us know in Discord’s 🐛・bug-reports channel with your character name, map, what happened, and a screenshot when useful. Public reports help us keep track and help other adventurers too.
Server rates
The 5× baseline also covers MVP reward items, equipment-granted drops, item-group drops, and treasure. The separate MVP bonus EXP rate is 1×; ordinary monster Base/Job EXP is 5×. The global quest rate is 1× because the repeatable rewards above are scaled separately.
Drop exceptions
The 15 classic repeatable quest materials use 3× with a 60% ordinary-drop ceiling across their monster sources, before player bonuses. Lower chances stay below that ceiling.
Which quest materials?
Fluff, Chrysalis, Bill of Birds, Powder of Butterfly, Acorn, Porcupine Quill, Stone Heart, Earthworm Peeling, Frill, Dokebi Horn, Sharp Leaf, Anolian Skin, Bacillus, Huge Leaf, and Antelope Horn.
| Monster | Item | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Wolf | Strawberry | 18% |
| Desert Wolf | Stiletto [3] | 4.2% |
| Enchanted Peach Tree | Royal Jelly | 30% |
| Alligator | Yggdrasil Seed | 1.5% |
Bill of Birds and Antelope Horn are no longer sold by NPC shops. Cards retain their 5× rate. Use @rates for global settings and @mobinfo <monster> for individual monster drops.
Where's Togethering? 🐇
Where's Togethering? is an automatic, cooperative hide-and-seek event in Prontera. Togethering announces a ten-minute warning before hiding somewhere in the city, followed by a two-minute warning and progressively clearer clues during the search.
- Three rounds daily: 00:00, 08:00, and 16:00 server time (UTC). Each remains open for ten minutes. Use
@servertimeto check the server clock. - In Mountain Daylight Time, that is 6 PM the previous evening, 2 AM, and 10 AM. The Mountain conversion shifts when daylight saving time changes; the UTC schedule stays fixed.
- Search inside Prontera and click Togethering when you find her.
- Everyone may claim the reward once per account each round—not only the first finder.
- Sharing the hiding place and helping neighbors is encouraged.
- Each successful finder receives one Poring Coin.
Spend Poring Coins at the Costume Picnic Poring near the Prontera fountain at prontera 137/181. The boutique displays its costume selection and prices, and its fitting room lets you preview costumes without changing your real equipment.
Poring Coins and their costume rewards cannot be traded, vended, mailed, dropped, placed in carts, or put in guild storage. Poring Coins cannot be put in account storage either; keep them on the character who will spend them. Purchased costumes may use account storage.

Travel, saving, and /memo
Travel remains part of the classic world. Kafras, boats, airships, walking routes, and save points matter.
- Acolytes with Warp Portal can use
/memoon ordinary outdoor fields and exterior dungeon approaches. /memodoes not work inside dungeon floors, buildings, job-test maps, quest instances, airports, or castles.- The displayed city is Morroc, but its internal map command is spelled
morocc. - Bayalan Island is reached from the Izlude boat area.
- Level 1 Teleport, including Creamy Card, random-warps immediately without an “Unknown area” prompt. Level 2 retains its destination menu; normal map restrictions still apply.
- World Map monster search can help locate hunting areas. Dungeon results point to their outside entrances.
Useful NPC services
Main Office and central Kafra
The Main Office sign at /navi prontera 130/186 marks the service building. Its overhead “Main Office” bubble is a sign, not a joinable chatroom. Inside: the Community Clerk, Reset Counselor, Market Hall Attendant, and Platinum Skill Tutor. The reputation ledger is hidden; the office is not a quest hub or instant job changer.
Platinum Skill Tutor: /navi prt_in 38/104. Free, permanent special skills for your current job using the server’s class-aware platinum-skill service. No materials, zeny, or skill points are spent. Confirm to learn; cancel to leave unchanged. Revisit after changing jobs for newly available skills.
Doram Kafra: /navi prontera 132/187, outside the office. Standard Prontera storage, cart rental, and teleport services and fees. Choosing Save sets your return point to exactly prontera 156/181; existing saves and other Kafras are not changed automatically. Her custom portrait arrives through the normal launcher patch.
Plaza neighbors: Ribbon & Razor at prontera 142/196; Costume Picnic Poring at prontera 137/181; Walking Field Guide at prontera 159/189; Sparring Steward at prontera 170/196.
Reset Counselor — Main Office
Near the bookshelf: /navi prt_in 40/114. Your first stat reset and first skill reset are independently free per character. Later resets cost 10,000 zeny each, or up to 20,000 for both. Categories with no spent points are skipped without consuming a free use.
Bring inventory weight to zero, remove combat equipment and your pushcart, and follow the counselor’s safety checks. Your class, levels, EXP, and quest/platinum skills are preserved. Class buffs are cleared; skill resets may dismiss mounts, falcons, or an active Homunculus. Ranked Taekwon skill-reset restrictions still apply. You see the price and can cancel before confirming.
Payon supplies and saving
The outdoor Tool Dealer beside Kafra at /navi payon 159/96 now includes Awakening Potions, Orange/Yellow/White Potions, Green Potions, Magnifiers, traps, and Silver Arrows alongside the original stock. Normal item prices and Discount rules apply.
Payon’s town Kafras save you at /navi payon 173/101. Existing Payon saves were moved to this clearing too, so Butterfly Wings and respawning use the new spot. Saves in other towns are unchanged.
Inns
Official inns can set your respawn point for free and restore all HP/SP for 5,000 zeny.
Prontera barber
Ribbon & Razor is southwest of the Prontera fountain at prontera 142 196. Supported hair styles, hair colors, and clothing colors are free, with previews before you keep a look. An indoor stylist is also available.
Casual sparring
The Sparring Steward at prontera 170 196 offers free entry to an opt-in, free-for-all PvP room. Challenge friends or try a build: there is no EXP death penalty, no prizes or rankings, and no level equalization. Consumables are used normally and are not refunded. A Return Steward brings you back to Prontera.
Technique Tutor
At in_rogue 368 120, the Technique Tutor offers a selection of legitimate copied skills for 15,000 zeny. You must already know Plagiarism; the copied level is capped by that skill and the technique’s normal maximum. A new lesson replaces your existing copied skill. Remove Preserve before taking a lesson.
Morroc supplies
Tool Dealers are located at morocc 146 103 and morocc 151 241. Intact classic Morroc also includes its usual butcher, jewelers, collectors, traders, Kafras, and innkeepers.
Marriage for everyone 💍
Same-sex marriage is enabled on TogetherRO. Partners of any character sex can marry, and either partner may begin the ceremony.
- Both characters must be Base 45 or higher, unmarried, and not adopted/baby characters.
- Each partner applies with Marry Happy (Wedding Staff) in Prontera Church at
prt_church 97 100. - Form a party of exactly two and stay together inside the church.
- Either partner speaks to Bishop Vomars at
prt_church 100 128and confirms their vows. The other partner then speaks to him and gives their own consent. - Complete both partners’ dialogue within three minutes of starting. If you cancel or time out, your applications remain valid and you can try again.
What to bring for each character
| Character | Registration requirements |
|---|---|
| Male character | 1 Tuxedo, 1 Diamond Ring, and 1,300,000 zeny |
| Female character | 1 Wedding Dress, 1 Diamond Ring, and 1,200,000 zeny |
A Marriage Covenant may replace that character’s zeny fee; the clothing and Diamond Ring are still required. Registration consumes the required items and payment. Each spouse receives the wedding ring appropriate for their character.
MVP victory announcements
When an MVP is defeated in combat, the server celebrates the player who receives MVP credit with a global message:
MVP <monster> has been defeated by <character>!
The announcement uses the game’s MVP award winner, which may differ from the character who lands the final hit.
Comfortable resting & recovery
After five uninterrupted seconds of peaceful sitting in PvE, an extra recovery bonus restores 2% of maximum HP and SP per second, alongside normal recovery.
Standing, fighting, or using skills resets the wait. Normal weight and recovery restrictions still apply, including SP restrictions around Fury and Asura Strike. The extra bonus is disabled in PvP, duels, guild-war maps, and battlegrounds.
What TogetherRO changes
This guide focuses on differences players may not find in a generic RO database:
- Expanded Training Grounds combat guidance and repeatable Novice practice.
- 5× baseline drops, with targeted quest-material and supply exceptions.
- Level-scaled classic repeatable rewards and the solo-friendly Quiet Rest hunts.
- Peaceful sitting recovery, immediate Level 1 Teleport, and casual sparring.
- Same-sex marriage and global MVP victory announcements.
- Free, client-verified appearance customization.
- Outdoor-field and dungeon-approach
/memoquality-of-life policy. - Intact classic Morroc services preserved despite later episode data conflicts.
- A capped, curated Doram/Summoner path adapted for pre-renewal play.
- Three daily Togethering hide-and-seek rounds and cosmetic Poring Coin rewards.
For ordinary class, skill, monster, item, and classic quest information, use a pre-renewal RO reference. If an outside database disagrees with TogetherRO, report it so we can verify the live server data.
Rules and multiclienting

Ribbon & Razor: your wardrobe
The new collection is open. Close the game completely and run your usual launcher before using it; an old client can fail when it sees a new dye on someone else. No full-client redownload is needed.
Each character has three saved looks. Each slot stores hairstyle, hair color, and outfit color—not equipment. Save, load, replace, or delete a slot for free. Loading a look checks its compatibility; replacing or deleting one asks for confirmation.
Use Next/Previous or Enter a number. Human hairstyles are 1–42; Doram styles are 1–10. Original hair colors are 0–8. The new human hair colors are 101–133. Outfit colors are 0, 2, 3, plus 101–134 for humans and 101–135 for Doram. Numbers refer to actual style/color IDs, not menu positions. Unsupported numbers are rejected.
Choose Keep to commit a preview, or Restore to undo it. An unfinished preview is restored when you log out or next visit the salon. Saved colors may look different after changing jobs. Some special mounts/costumes use a neutral stock-color fallback; mounted Lord Knight and Paladin do not yet preview the new dyes.
Appearance asset credits and licensing
Human dyes and corrected class/head sprites: KamiShi / Camilla. Sources: hair dyes and license notice, corrected sprites, and 2018 free clothing palettes. The hair download identifies its license as Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike; see the original download for the governing terms. TogetherRO's adaptations of that material retain those terms. TogetherRO charges nothing for this collection and offers no sales or donation perks.
Doram body palettes: Tero, from the Summoner palette release, offered for server use. Original Ragnarok artwork belongs to its respective owners. No creator endorsement is implied.
TogetherRO packaging changes: custom palette IDs moved to 101 and above, original dye slots retained, selected matched sprite/animation resources included, two unused malformed Crusader sprite frames removed, and neutral stock-palette fallbacks added for unsupported transitions. Corrected sprites can change how older colors render. The downloadable GRF contains the adapted assets; this notice does not relicense unrelated game files.
